Man Utd Transfers: 10 Deals That Should Happen In January
4. Darren Fletcher OUT
With Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera now pulling the strings, Darren Fletcher doesn't quite fit into the new-look Manchester United midfield. The Scotland international, who has battled a chronic bowel condition in recent years, has understandably slipped down the pecking order since the arrival of Louis van Gaal and his luxurious acquisitions and with his contract set to expire next summer, United could seek to cash in on the 30-year-old. Having played just half an hour of football since August, Fletcher is virtually left with no choice but to seek a move elsewhere to see out the remainder of his career. Although still hopes United will offer him a one-year contract extension, Hull City are reportedly keen on bringing him to the KC Stadium and have already registered their interest in striking a deal with his current employers this winter. With Steve Bruce willing to offer him a regular starting berth at another Premier League club, the Scot simply can't turn it down. Probability: 9/10
