There's no doubt that the big Belgian has a lot of talent, or that on his day he could be a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League again, but you have to suspect that it's not going to be at United. Fellaini is just too much of a hangover from the Moyes era at Old Trafford, and while United will undoubtedly take a significant bath on what they paid for him when they eventually get rid of him he does need to go. Unfortunately for United, Fellaini is currently injured and any hope of a potential loan move to Napoli - where he would get the fresh start he needs - might now be scuppered. But Van Gaal doesn't rate him as a United player and if there's a possibility of him getting rid, it should be taken rather than letting him rot.
