Man Utd Transfers: 10 Deals Van Gaal Still Needs To Complete

7. Arturo Vidal

The potential capture of the Chilean centre-midfielder has been one of the longest running transfer sagas of the summer, and while it seems to have reached stalemate, with Juventus apparently keen to keep him where he is, there could still be movement. According to the Daily Star, United have made a second improved bid for the midfielder, with an unnamed player heading in the other direction to Juventus to sweeten the deal. Perhaps that could be Fellaini? Or Anderson? Either way both United and Juventus would be getting a good deal. Inevitably, Van Gaal would still have to fork out cash along with the player, and the Star say that would be in the region of £32m, and that the player involved is definitely not Hernandez or Welbeck.
