Man Utd Transfers: 10 Signings To Ensure Premier League Glory

Some tips for Louis Van Gaal on who to add to his summer shopping list.

After Sir Alex Ferguson left the Theatre of Dreams in 2013, there€™s no denying that Manchester United have struggled. David Moyes would be hand-picked to fill the Sir Alex void, although he underwhelmed many and only lasted a season. The legendary Louis Van Gaal has since taken the reigns at Utd, but he isn€™t yet yet hitting the heights that many around the club expect. Many fans and pundits can see the holes that need filling in the Man Utd line-up, and the general consensus is that Utd are suffering for not replacing established stars sooner, particularly at centre-half and in midfield. One could make the argument that Utd should be looking at the likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Wesley Sniejder, Sergio Ramos, or Lionel Messi. Sure, all great players, all capable of putting in world class performances. But Utd have to look at certain factors when looking at potential transfer targets, such as making sure signings are the right side of 30 and not wasting their time trying to sign players who have no intention of leaving their current club. If Utd are to rise to the top of the tree once more, or at least put up a decent title challenge, over the next few years, the Old Trafford hierarchy could do worse than looking at these 10 talents.
