Man Utd Transfers: 5 AVAILABLE Transfer Targets

3. Wesley Sneijder

wesley_sneijder Wesley Sneijder looked set to sign for Turkish club Galatasaray this weekend*, but news has surfaced that the club are still trying to convince the Dutch midfielder to move to Istanbul despite having reached an agreement with Inter Milan to sign the unwanted midfielder. Sneijder hasn't played for Inter since September after angering club officials by refusing to accept a wage-cut, and his departure from Milan this month is imminent after being told he'd never play for the side ever again. Manchester United have been long term admirers of the creative midfielder and have been linked with signing him ever since 2011, but balked at his hefty price tag and lofty wages.** They appeared to have missed out on signing him for a knock-down price of £8.2 million*** this week however when it was thought he'd all but put pen to paper on a deal with Galatasaray, but with the club still trying to persuade him to sign up, Ferguson could yet make a last-gasp move to hijack the deal.
