3. Alessio Cerci
Lets now turn our attention to Serie A in search of a creative option for Moyes to consider this January. Alessio Cerci seems to be a premier option with an average rating of 7.61, nine goals and seven assists. Although, its fair to say that Im using a certain of creative license here since Cerci is probably more of a winger or second striker, than a creative central midfielder. However, he certainly wouldnt be the first player to be a converted to a new role after a transfer, the fact that he has already shown versatility in position during his career will be a major benefit to Moyes. Cerci is 26 years old and came through the youth system at Roma, before finding more regular football with first Fiorentina and now Torino. The player has also recently become involved with the Italian national team by winning nine caps for his country. Torino are certainly benefitting from Cercis contributions this season as they currently sit seventh in Serie A, a fine achievement considering the club is fairly small in world football terms with a stadium capacity of less than 30,000. Man Utd may only be seventh in their own league at the time of writing, but this
possible move would be a big step up for the player should it happen.
