Man Utd Transfers: 5 Last-Minute Deadline Day Deals That Could Happen

3. Spurs To Sign Nani On Loan

Tottenham are reportedly looking into the possibility of signing Luis Nani on loan for the remainder of the season. Nani, currently out with a hamstring injury, is a target for Spurs this month while he has also attracted the attention of Italian giants Inter Milan. Both want the winger on loan and United are willing to let him leave until the end of the season, as they did with the equally-misfiring Anderson earlier this month. Nani has been a relative disappointment since moving to Old Trafford in 2007, and there are few fans who would mourn his loss at the Theatre of Dreams. Tottenham appear to have the Red Devil's blessing to make a move happen and have even cleared space for the Portuguese midfielder by letting Lewis Holtby join Fulham on loan. All that remains is for them to fend off competition for Inter, and the deal may well be announced before tonight's 23:00 transfer deadline.
