1. Yuto Nagatomo
Yuto Nagatoma has just enjoyed a successful Confederations Cup tournament despite the fact Japan cruelly exited at the group stages at the hands of Italy in a
thrilling 4-3 defeat, despite going 2-0 up against
Gli Azzurri. As well as winning 61 caps for Japan, the 26-year-old has also established himself as a regular in the Inter Milan set-up, nailing down a regular starting berth at full-back. Sir Alex Ferguson was said to have
been interested in the Japan international, while Real Madrid have also shown an interest in the past, and Nagatomo was said to have felt flattered by the interest from two of Europes top clubs. Like Coentrao, he can play on either flank as well as in midfield which would provide manager David Moyes with ample options next season, and he could also link up with his compatriot Shinji Kagawa. But he may have to stump up a large fee given his importance to the Milan side.
Do you think United will still sign Leughton Baines or should David Moyes look at other options? Who else could he bring in at left-back? Let us know in the comment section, below.
