Man Utd Transfers: 5 Players Who Should Go On Loan In 2013/14

1. Nick Powell

English midfielder Nick Powell seemed to disappear from the radar after the beginning of last season, where he made an early debut appearance against Wigan Athletic and scored within minutes of coming on. Having joined the club last summer after an impressive season in League Two with Crewe Alexandra, much is expected of the midfield dynamo, who has been a regular in a number of England international youth setups. Given that he is only nineteen, however, it may be some time before he reaches his full potential in the Premier League. The club have a number of years to hone his skills and talents, but the most effective way to give him experience at this early point in his career is a loan move, as reserves fixtures are unlikely to pose as much of a challenge to a gifted player as first team Championship or League One action would. Perhaps Crewe would be willing to take their one time star prospect back for a few months. If not, there€™s sure to be many clubs clamouring for the opportunity to break in one of the nation€™s most promising young talents.
