2. He Has Accomplished Everything In England
Three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, two Football League cups, one Community Shield, one Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup, Ronaldo has won everything worth winning in England and more. The question therefore is, why would he return to a club where he has done everything there is to do? At Real he still has unfinished business. He would consider it a personal victory were he to usurp Lionel Messi as the world's (and La Liga's) best player, while he has also yet to win the Champions League with his current club. Much like his fellow countryman and current manager Jose Mourinho, Ronaldo has a desire to win all there is worth winning in the game. Mourinho has won the Champions League with both a Portuguese and Italian side - how Ronaldo would love to replicate that feat and completely cement himself as the world's best. The lure of winning further trophies in France, and with PSG, for example, may therefore be a more attractive option than United.
