Earlier this month it was reported by Metro that Inter Milan's 30-year-old Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was in talks with Manchester United over a potential move to the Premier League, should David de Gea leave. For the past three years Handanovic has impressed for the Nerazzuri and with his side sitting eighth in Serie A and looking set to miss out on a European spot, he could be forced to leave the club to play at the top level of professional football. A move for Handanovic would be one with the future in mind as, at the age of 30, he has a number of years left before he would be considered too old. The stopper has been capped 75 times for his country and, should the deal for David de Gea not materialise, he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
