It is thought that with a similar 'sweeper keeper' style, in which the Frenchman will not be afraid to quickly rush out of his goal and trust his footwork, to David de Gea - Louis van Gaal could take an interest. Hugo Lloris originally moved to Tottenham with the promise of playing more top European football and there have been murmurings that he is growing frustrated at the club's consistent failure to qualify for the Champions League.
