Radamel Falcao has enjoyed a wonderful, goal-fuelled career so far, but it descended into farce almost a year ago when the Monaco forward was accused of LYING about his age. TV news station Noticias Uno recently made allegations that Falcao is two years older than he claims to be, meaning if they're right, the forward is actually 30. The TV station dug up registration documents from one of his primary schools, Colegio San Pedro Claver de Bucaramanga, and found that the papers said he was born on February 10 1984, and not February 10 1986, which is what is written on the star's FIFA registration. Falcao last year denied the allegations but if they're true, the striker will be nearing the end of his career rather than enjoying the heights of his prime. This would also have ramifications for his market value. With United being forced to shell out £43.5 million if they want to make his move to Old Trafford permanent, such a fee would clearly be ridiculous for a player who could be turning 31 in the New Year. Hopefully the star's medical later this afternoon will help put these rumours to bed. Man Utd fans - are you happy with Falcao's purchase? Share your thoughts in the comments thread, below.
