Man Utd Transfers: Predicting The 10 Players Moyes Will Sell In January

5. Anderson

Another player who simply hasn't made the grade at Manchester United in recent seasons is Anderson. The Brazilian is a constant source of frustration for United fans, with his style of play sadly not in keeping with the 'samba star' stereotype. Central midfield is a weak point for United, and there are several players in that area who you could single out for criticism, such as Marouane Fellaini, who has yet to settle, and Phil Jones, who is too inconsistent when it comes to injury. But where Anderson is concerned there is little excuse for his poor performances - just five goals in six-and-a-half seasons at the club paints its own picture and it's difficult to tell what exactly he brings to the team. Former side Porto apparently want to take him back, and would probably be welcome to him in the New Year.
