Man Utd Transfers: Striker 'Couldn't Say No' To Possible Red Devils Switch
Hotshot forward hints at move to Manchester.
Watford star Odion Ighalo has hinted that he would find it very difficult to resist a transfer to Manchester if they were to submit a bid, according to reports. The 26-year-old Nigerian striker is a boyhood fan of the Red Devils and has caught the attention of several top clubs following his impressive form in the Premier League. No official bid has been submitted just yet, but United will surely be hoping to bolster a forward line that has found goals hard to come by throughout the first half of the season. Ighalo said: "I dont think I will be moving but Im not sure Id say no if United called. They were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV. "They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream. While he may claim a move isn't on the cards, you have to wonder how long he'll remain at Watford, with Atletico Madrid also reportedly interested in Ighalo. He finished 2015 as the top scorer across the top four divisions of English football with 30 goals in the calendar year, while he's third in the charts for the Premier League top scorer award this season.
