Manchester City welcome Sporting Lisbon to the Etihad Stadium tonight for the second leg of their last sixteen Europa League tie. The English club trail Lisbon 1-0 from the first leg and they will be wary that any goals the Portguese club score tonight will count double as away goals. Kick-off is at 8.05pm and the match is being televised live in the UK on ESPN. Gareth Barry is likely to miss out tonight with a troubling back problem. Manager Roberto Mancini has hinted that he will rest the England international for tonight's game. Defenders Vincent Kompany (calf) and Pablo Zabaleta (hamstring) are also on the treatment table, though there is encouraging word that Joleon Lescott will overcome his groin injury to make the bench. Controversial striker Carlos Tevez was not registered to play in Europe and won't feature tonight, though there is talk that Mancini might play him at the weekend.

Man City (from): Hart, Pantilimon, Richards, Lescott, Savic, K Toure, Clichy, Kolarov, Milner, Pizarro, Johnson, Nasri, Silva, De Jong, Y Toure, Dzeko, Aguero, Balotelli.
