Manchester City's Carlos Tevez To Start On Bench Against Chelsea

28-year-old controversial Argentina international striker has not played in a Manchester City shirt since September after allegedly refusing to warm up during a game.

Disrespectful Tevez was accused of refusing to warm up in City€™s UEFA Champions league game against Bayer Munich in September. Ever since then the situation has been uneasy between manager Roberto Mancini and Tevez. The former Manchester United player left to join fierce rivals Manchester City in 2009. However, Tevez shocked and disappointed everyone at the Eithad stadium when he requested to be transfer at the end of last year. With the January transfer window not being the exit Tevez had wished for, he has now been forced to remain at City until at least the summer. Want You Back For Good Reports have suggested that Tevez is working harder than ever in training in order to gain full fitness ever since he was reunited with his club after an extended leave only a few weeks ago. It now looks like his return will happen tomorrow night in a huge game against fifth place Chelsea as Manchester City attempt to catch up the Red Devils at the top of the table. Tevez€™s lack of gratitude may be causing tension with him and his teammates but his Argentine strike partner Sergio Aguero is delighted to welcome him back to the club. €œI am happy he is back. I think his return could be important for us in the decisive period of this season. He has been one of the best forwards in world football€ With City still on the heels of the champions, Tevez could add vital goals to the team something that may help them win the league over the red side of Manchester. Do you think City need Tevez? And should he be allowed back into the team? Leave your comments below.
