Manchester United: 10 Strikers Who Can Succeed Where Falcao Failed
7. Arkadiusz Milik
Compatriot Robert Lewandowski would have been on this list if not for the complete impossibility of Manchester United being able to prize him away from Bayern Munich just a year after he signed for the German champions from Borussia Dortmund. If United had been on the ball, and if they hadn't missed out on the Champions League under David Moyes, maybe Lewandowski would already be a United man. But what's done is done - there is no use dwelling on the past.
21-year-old Arkadiusz Milik is another prospect entirely. He's a near carbon-copy of his Poland teammate, and he's banged them in for a struggling Ajax side while on loan with the Eredivise side this season. He will return to his parent club, Bayern Leverkusen, this summer, and though Leverkusen have qualified for a Champions League Play-Off spot, which means they are guaranteed at least Europa League next season, Milik may feel his future lies elsewhere.
He's still a work in progress, but United have always given youngsters a chance - and when you have as good a goalscoring record for club and country as Milik does, it's worth taking a chance on the young Pole.
