Manchester United Set To Sign International Defender

The Italian right back has reportedly agreed terms with the Red Devils.

Manchester United are set to complete the transfer of Torino's Matteo Darmian for £12.7 million, according to Metro. The Italian media has reported that the 25-year-old has reportedly agreed personal terms with United and the player is expected to join up with the club this week Darmian who had an outstanding game against England in the opening game of the World Cup in Brazil, played 41 times for Torino last season and scored four goals. Louis van Gaal has made it clear this summer that he wanted a new right back as current defender Rafael is not in his plans. The Italian international can play in a variety of positions including, right back, left back, centre half and is comfortable moving into the midfield if needed.
