New Man City Manager: 5 Replacements For Roberto Mancini

5. Joachim Löw

Lowe Since Sheikh Mansour pumped his Qatar Billions into Man City, the club have had the luxury of going on whimsical spending sprees, targeting some of the worlds finest players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Robin van Persie, Kaka, Neymar, Aguero, Silva, etc etc etc. This worked, to an extent, as the club won their first Premier League trophy last season. However, club legend Dennis Tueart believes the next big challenge for the club is to develop its own talent and usher in younger players rather than invest so heavily in proven talent. With the new Financial Fair Play regulations coming into effect next season, the club may have to adopt that philosophy. In that case, what better man for the job than Joachim Löw? He fielded the second youngest team of the World Cup 2010 tournament, who not many really fancied to do anything, and then sensationally guided them all the way to the semi-finals. Astonishing, really. Löw is still under contract with the German national side however, and it'd take some persuading on Mansour's part to get him to budge. Source(s): ESPN
