Newcastle Premier League Managers Ranked By Win Percentage

The Permanent Managers...

13. Alan Shearer - 12.50%

Newcastle United Manager: April 1st 2009-May 24th 2009 Games In Charge: 8 Won: 1 Drew: 2 Lost: 5 Win Percentage: 12.50% Reason For Leaving: Not Offered A New Deal After Temporary Contract Big Al was called in by Mike Ashley to try and save Newcastle's doomed 2008-09 season - but, with just eight games remaining, Shearer couldn't turn around the horrendous slide. Kevin Keegan had resigned just days into the season and then Joe Kinnear's terrible tenure ended when he became ill, and the job of saving the Magpies proved too much for their greatest-ever goalscorer. From eight games in charge, Shearer won just once as Newcastle were relegated to the Championship - giving him the worst win record of 12.50%.
