He may not have scored during a goalless final against Uruguay - even if he did try this audacious effort above from a difficult angle - but Thauvin still lifted France's first-ever FIFA Under-20 World Cup trophy. A 4-1 victory on penalties - a shootout in which Thauvin was not called upon to take one, but in which Paul Pogba netted - gave France victory. Arguably the highlight of Thauvin's career to date.
