Newcastle Transfer News Round-Up: Every Player The Magpies Have Been Linked With From June 1st-7th

4. Daniel Wass (Evian)

Inter Milan appear to have stolen a march on Newcastle United in the fight for Evian winger Daniel Wass€™ signature. The 26-year-old winger scored an impressive eight goals and contributed a further four assists in 32 Ligue 1 appearances for Evian in 2014-15. A 13-cap Danish international, Wass€™ versatility has pricked the interest of both Newcastle and Inter due to the fact he can play both on the wing and at right-back. The 5ft 11ins winger started his career at his native Brondby IF before moving to loan to Fredrikstad for half a season. A transfer to Benfica followed in 2011 but Wass was then immediately loaned out to Evian, where he scored four goals in 29 league appearances before signing for the French side permanently. To date he has scored 23 goals in 133 league appearances for Evian.
