Age: 23 Club: Queens Park Rangers Nationality: English Estimated market value: £5 million Club Appearances (Current, League): 34 International Caps: 1 Two relegations in two seasons may set some alarm bells ringing but Steven Caulker is still only 23 and he has all the qualities that could help make him a top-class centre-back. The former Tottenham Hotspur youngster had a brilliant season on loan at Swansea City in 2011-12 and it was the following campaign, when he failed to break into the Spurs first team, that really halted his development. Capped once by England in 2012 due to his stellar performances for the Swans, Caulker struggled in an awful Cardiff City team last season and the same has happened again this year for Queens Park Rangers. The 6ft 3ins centre-back is quick, agile and confident on the ball. If an experienced defender can be brought in alongside him, then Caulker would be a brilliant addition - and probably at a knockdown price due to QPR's relegation and potential financial fair play fine.
