If Papiss Cisse hand't scored against Southampton then I would have considered putting Aleksandar Mitrovic up front this week. The Senegalese striker was quiet throughout the second-half and, although finally looking fully-fit, his touch and finishing let him down on a couple of occasions. Bu, he did score and his confidence will be high going into the Swansea fixture. Speaking to the Chronicle this week, he said:
Having other strikers makes me work harder. I know that there are two players behind me who want to play. Only hard work shows the gaffer what I can do, whether in the game, or in the training sessions. I want to show him I want to play. I want to score goals to help this team get the wins.
