Chris' Winner: John Carver - "We are not going to park the bus (at Manchester City)". The Magpies interim boss was determined that the Magpies would go to the Etihad looking for victory in February. However, his declaration that Newcastle would not "park the bus" against Man City looked ridiculous when they conceded a penalty inside 40 seconds, and were 3-0 down after 21 minutes. The Magpies eventually lost 5-0 - so to be fair on Carver, his side certainly didn't park any buses... but he had scored a monumental own goal. Ross' Winner: Paul Dummett vs Burnley (at St James' Park). Simply unforgettable. When the Clarets launched the ball forward after 19 minutes, Dummett inexplicably nodded it backwards so that it looped over his own goalkeeper's head and into the back of the net from about 20 yards. He was under little-to-no pressure and it proved to be Burnley's first of three equalisers during the 3-3 draw on New Year's Day, Carver's first game as caretaker boss. Ultimately, it was a sign of things to come under Carver...
