Chris' Winner:Alan Pardew. He may have done wonders at Crystal Palace but his time at Newcastle had gone stale - and the fact Mike Ashley managed to recoup £3.5 million for a bloke who the Toon faithful no longer wanted was impressive. The failure to replace him, not so much... Ross' Winner: The land behind St James' Park. This just proves that Ashley's interview at the weekend was a fraud - the land (around the Metro station) being sold off means the club cannot extend the ground now.
