Newcastle United's Worst-Ever Premier League XI

10. FORWARD - Shefki Kuqi

Newcastle United: 2011

Nationality: Finnish

Position: Forward

Cost: Free Transfer (Signed after being a free agent)

Premier League Appearances: 6

Premier League Goals: 0

One of the most-bizarre signings in the history of Newcastle United Football Club, Kuqi was released by Swansea City in January 2011 - and then snapped up on a free transfer just weeks later by Alan Pardew's Newcastle United.

He made just six Premier League appearances - without scoring - before he was released in May 2011 and made little-to-no lasting impression on the Toon faithful.

Many Newcastle fans are still scratching their heads, wondering why Kuqi was ever signed in the first place...
