Played a supporting role to Jonjo Shelvey in the central midfield; typically tireless and full of endeavour. He looked a lot more comfortable with a player of Jonjo's ilk next to him. Did extremely well in the dying embers of the first half with a lung bursting run from box-to-box that almost saw United get in for a third goal. Forced to fill in at left back after Dummett's injury, but looked pretty comfortable for the most part.
