Forced into retirement over four years ago, presumably because he took to the pitch in a wheelchair... After leaving Newcastle during the Championship campaign, Geremi joined Turkish side Ankaragücü on a one-and-a-half-year deal, but left after less than six months. He signed for Greek club Larissa in August 2010 on a two year deal but was released in January 2011. Is seems that the former Real Madrid man went into hibernation after retirement as he's only been heard from in one interview in the build up to last summer's World Cup. Goodness knows what he's up to these days.
