11. Breakthrough Player Of The Year?
Chris' Prediction: Rolando Aarons Extremely unoriginal, I know... This one is very much dependent on Aarons staying fit for a significant portion of the campaign - which is certainly not a given - but if he does then the England youth winger has everything to excite the Geordie faithful. Ross' Prediction: Rolando Aarons I can't see past Aarons, although Adam Armstrong's stock could rise immeasurably without even being on Tyneside if he bangs in the goals at Coventry City. If he does, then he'll set himself up for next season perfectly - but Aarons will shine in the Premier League this time out. Matt's Prediction: Rolando Aarons A clean sweep here. The winger has natural ability to take on defenders and, if he can add a few more goals to his game, he could be a key player in McClarens 4-2-3-1 formation. On a wider scale, young defender Jamie Sterry could be gently nurtured into the side after being included in the squad for the Manchester United fixture last March.
