Chris' Prediction: Georginio Wijnaldum A very tough one this because I rate all three signings highly but Wijnaldum has displayed touches of class that set him apart from anyone else in Newcastle's front six during pre-season. The Magpies haven't had a goal-scoring midfielder since Kevin Nolan, but Wijnaldum has the potential to be a real star. Ross' Prediction: One They Haven't Made Yet Newcastle's recruitment should not be finished yet, even if McClaren has suggested it is. Chancel Mbemba's lack of height means they need a "Vidic-esque" dominator to replace Mike Williamson and win the headers at the back. Then they would be the signing of the season. Matt's Prediction: Aleksandar Mitrovic The striker knows how to score goals and he will be a refreshing presence up front. Armed with clinical finishing ability, natural aggression and a likeable arrogance, Mitrovic could replicate the form he showed at Anderlecht last season and become a cult hero on Tyneside.
