Burnley or Queens Park Rangers will finish bottom of the Premier League table this summer, yet they will still be guaranteed £65 million from the Premier League's TV deal for the year. If Newcastle are relegated, they will no longer be able to call upon those funds (which are even higher for those who remain in the top flight) - and the TV deal for the Championship is tiny in proportion, and is also spread between all 72 Football League clubs.
