While O.J.'s off-field, post career actions have marred his football career, he's actually one of the greatest RBs the league has ever seen.

Throughout the 70s, 'The Juice' led the league in rushing 4 times, as well as being an MVP in 1973 (and rushing for over 2000 yards in 14 games that same year). While he took some time to get going, O.J. was able to retire with 11,236 career rushing yards and 94 TDs. He was quicker than a lot of his peers - a naturally gifted track athlete, as well as having a size and power advantage in most match-ups.

It's just a shame things had to end the way they did.
