Eric Dickerson was the man, that much can't be denied, even from grainy low res YouTube footage, you can see that his athletic ability placed him head and shoulders above many other backs in the league at the time.

He wasn't a player that was happy standing still - he always needed to push himself. From the second he stepped on the field, the guy just exploded. He's still the fastest player in history to reach the 2000 yard club and is widely recognised as being one of the most determined, yet under-appreciated players in league history.

He holds a wealth of records, including the record for single season rushing yards (2105), some 30 years after he set it.
