NFL: 10 Things We Learned From Preseason Week 1

The highs, the lows, and the Tim Tebows.

The 2015 NFL season is creeping ever-closer, and while preseason won't get the hearts of a nation beating at double-speed, it's a welcome sign to see football talk on the rise and there's plenty to discuss already. All 32 teams took to the field over the weekend with a complete mixed bag to take away from their games. Still, fans would've been relieved to see their stars enter the field after the long wait since the Patriots' Super Bowl 49 victory, but the weekend would have been treasured most by the all-new draft class. Some of the brightest sparks shone in their roles as expected, while others stumbled, proving that coaches and young players need patience as they find their feet. But perhaps one of the best aspects of preseason is watching the less-talked about players finally grabbing the headlines across the weekend. Week 1 was no exception, with certain players - both young and old - rising to the occasion and boosting their stock. If nothing else, the first weekend of preseason has given fans a taster of the fireworks expected from the regular season which looks set to be another rollercoaster ride for pretty much every team in the league. However, when there's football being played, there are always some key talking points to emerge. Here are 10 of the most notable things we learned over the weekend.
