NFL: 5 Breakout Players For 2013

2. Lamar Miller

Lamar Miller If anyone in the AFC has a shot at a breakout season, it has to be running back Lamar Miller. With Reggie Bush bolting to the Detroit Lions, Miller has an opportunity to make his name known in Miami. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, Miller was 3rd on the depth chart for most of his rookie season, learning behind Bush and Daniel Thomas. Though he didn't get to play often, the chances Miller did see the field provided a glimpse as to the starting running back he can be. Helping Miller out is the fact that Thomas hasn't made a favorable impression on the coaches, failing to display any resemblance of a starting running back. Averaging almost five yards per carry, Miller displayed serious speed and agility, attributes he was known for while playing college football at the University Of Miami. With an offense that added stud wide receiver Mike Wallace during the offseason, Miller could be a key part of a deadly offense in 2013. A great year could be in order, but there's another running back who could have an ever bigger breakout season...
