NFL Draft 2013: Full Mock Draft Of The First Round

No. 2: Jacksonville Jaguars

Geno SmithThe pick: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia There's no kind way to put this; the Jaguars are an utter mess. The last time they were a playoff team was back in 2007 and have't been a .500 team since 2010 when they were 8-8. Over the last two seasons, they've gone through three head coaches and are now on their fourth one with Gus Bradley, the former defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks. Bradley got to watch an exciting quarterback in Russell Wilson take the Seahawks to the second round of the NFC Playoffs and were very close to playing in the NFC Championship Game. And that means Blaine Gabbert is on notice with Jacksonville, because this new regime isn't the one that drafted him. Bradley will want to start from scratch by drafting what he feel will be a franchise quarterback, although Smith's stock has dropped over the months. With that being said, Smith will likely be taking snaps in Jacksonville and compete for the starting job in training camp.
