No. 5: Detroit Lions
The pick: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan The Lions have a need at offensive line, especially with the departures of Jeff Backus and Gosder Cherlius, which means they will certainly be taking a tackle in the first round. Eric Fisher's stock has risen over the last few weeks to the point where he could even take Luke Joeckel's spot as the number 1 draft choice and land with the Chiefs. But, for the sake of arguments here, we'll simply assume that Joeckel will still go to Kansas City, which will have Detroit going with the next best lineman in Fisher. Fisher could come in immediately and start for Detroit in 2013 at left tackle while putting Riley Reiff at right tackle and breathe some new life into a group that struggled overall, especially since they were a playoff team in 2011.
