NFL Draft: Top 10 Steals

9. TE Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles

Round 2, Pick 35 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1WIbezbE_Q You'll see more Philadelphia Eagles on this list as they seem to have picked up great value in the later rounds. Zach Ertz was definitely a steal in the 2nd round by the Eagles. I attended the draft on the second day and saw Ertz get drafted live. I was shocked to see him go to the Eagles since Geno Smith, was still on the board and the Eagles also have Brent Celek and James Casey on their roster. Projected to go in first round, Ertz somehow slipped into the 2nd round and Eagles did not hesitate to grab him. He is a big guy at 6'6 250 pounds and is surprisingly very athletic with great route-running ability. Now with three solid tight ends on the roster, it is a possibility that Celek may be the odd man out, however, Chip may use Ertz and Celek as a two tight end package and then use Casey out of the backfield like Houston used him. This gives Kelly a lot more options to go to, especially in the red zone where the Eagles have struggled in years past. There is not doubt this is a huge steal for the birds since Ertz was projected to be a top 15-25 pick.
