NFL: Early Predictions For The Playoffs And Super Bowl
NFC Wild Card Round (Pt. 1)
Dallas Cowboys @ Carolina Panthers The NFC South failed to deliver any sort of real quality last season until the Panthers' late burst saw them win four games on the bounce and seize the division title, without any of their rivals really mounting a challenge. It was a staggeringly poor division, and while it looks set to improve this season, the difference will only be marginal. The Panthers are the best of the bunch, and Cam Newton will lead his side into battle at home to a potentially-wounded animal. While the South may be up for grabs among any of the four teams, the East looks like a two-horse race, but the result really could swing either way, dependent on whether Eagles' coach Chip Kelly's masterplan actually works. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they might have to settle for 2nd even if they do have a strong season. QB Tony Romo looked far safer last season, and he could be the man who inspires a post-season run. Cowboys Win
