The main story in Minnesota last year was RB Adrian Peterson being put on the Commissioners Exempt list after beating his child, but the story of rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater putting together a quietly solid season went under the radar. With no big running game or number one receiver to speak of, Bridgewater threw for nearly 3,000 yards and ran for nearly 300 more, with the majority of his best work coming down the stretch of the season. This year, he gets Peterson back, which means teams will respect the run more. He also gets a deep threat in WR Mike Wallace, another year of breakout WR Charles Johnson, and hopefully a healthy Kyle Rudolph at tight end. Its a little too much to assume you can wait to nab him as your starting quarterback (QB1), but anybody who waits to get Matthew Stafford, Phillip Rivers, Eli Manning or Ryan Tannehill would be smart to pick Teddy up as the backup.
