8. Matt Hasselbeck - 34,948

Matt Hasselbeck looks like an odd addition to this list, but his 16 NFL seasons have ensured he's racked up plenty of yards, before settling into a backup role. After being drafted by the Packers in 1998 in the Sixth Round, the now 39-year-old Hasselbeck can boast 10 years as a starter for the Seahawks, before their golden generation team grew with Russell Wilson at the helm. He's now opted for the cushy backup role behind the NFL's hottest property Andrew Luck on the Colts' roster, and although there was talk of a retirement, he's sticking around for one more season in the hope of picking up an elusive Super Bowl ring.
