Norwich City: 5 Reasons Canaries Should Keep Faith In Chris Hughton

3. At Least They Are Creating Chances

I know some people will say that creating chances doesn€™t mean a great deal when you are not picking up results. However, I would say that most sides that are struggling don€™t usually do it, it is a sign that confidence is still good in the squad, and that the players are still performing for the manager. Most people would say that one of the reason why they stayed up last season was because the team really went for it in the last couple of games. Well, I think you could argue that something similar is happening at the moment. The worry is that the goals aren€™t coming in relation to the number of chances that have been created. One of the biggest criticisms of Hughton though is he doesn€™t attack enough, the chance creation over the last few games shows that he is improving in that regard. Norwich must believe that the goals will come if they can keep playing with attacking flair, I would certainly say that the team seems to be creating better than most teams in the bottom half €“ and that has to be a good sign.
