Norwich City: 5 Reasons Canaries Should Keep Faith In Chris Hughton
2. There Is Enough Quality In The Squad
Whatever you say about Hughtons tactics, I think most fans would agree that its a good squad. This is no longer a team full of Championship players with potential. There are now internationals that go beyond that of the home nations. In my opinion, there are players in this squad that most Premier League teams would want, and that certainly shows how far the team has progressed. Most often in life, top quality rises to the top and we have to believe that will be the case with Norwich. When it comes down to it, the players will deliver when it really matters. We saw this last season, so surely history will repeat itself with what has to be a stronger squad. Under Paul Lambert, its probably fair to say that the team overdelivered at times. Hughton managed the difficult second season last year pretty well, considering things were always going to be difficult for him. However, this season, I feel like the team have underachieved in what they set out to do, and thats certainly a concern. Players were signed in the summer for good reason, and it is now time for them to prove that quality.
