Norwich City Transfers: 5 Replacements For Robert Snodgrass

5. Garath McCleary (Reading)

One of the criticisms of Snodgrass this season is for all of his good play; the player hasn€™t managed to back that up with a good number of assists. Therefore, if he does elect to move on then Reading€™s Gareth McCleary would be a potential replacement. McCleary is a versatile player with the ability to play his football on either wing, just like Snodgrass is able to. However, the both players are used most often as right wingers, and the similarities don€™t stop there the two players are 26 years old. One difference though this season is the ability the Reading player has in providing goals for others. The 10 assists that he has produced in the Championship so far this season from his 20 starts is the best return in the league; he has also managed to score on two occasions. However, he isn€™t as prolific as Snodgrass in terms of creating chances with just 26 to his name so far this season.
