Age: 25 Club: Wolfsburg Nationality: Dutch Estimated market value: £8million-£12million League apps (2014-15): 12 League goals (2014-15): 13 He may sound like a terrible Bond villain, but Bas Dost is making serious waves in the Bundesliga this season - he has scored 13 goals in just 12 games for Wolfsburg, including bagging four in a 5-4 victory over Bayer Leverkusen last month. Add to that the Dutchman's two breath-taking strikes against Bayern Munich in Wolfsburg's 4-1 demolition of the reigning champions in January, and it is easy to see why the 6ft 2ins striker is getting noticed around Europe. Dost is another forward who would offer Newcastle a real target man up front - he is extremely strong and bullies opposition defenders - although there are question marks about the former Heerenveen striker's mobility. Running is certainly not his forte... But a career league goal-scoring ratio of a strike every 0.58 games (70 goals in 119 matches) proves he knows how to find the target.
