Predicted Premier League Table 2013-14

2nd. Manchester City

I was toying between Manchester City and Chelsea for top spot for a while but I have eventually decided to go with Manchester City in second place. Originally, I fancied them to win the title but I have changed my mind. Chelsea have been great in cup competitions lately but I think Mourinho will be focusing on winning the Premier League title again. And with Manchester City, I can see them having a great run in the Champions League, at least substantially better than in the last two seasons. I think Man City have the best squad in the league, definitely. Their summer transfer window couldn€™t have gone much better. They needed a change up front with all the problems Balotelli and Tevez brought and they did that. Jovetic and Negredo are two great players but aren€™t an improvement on Balotelli and Tevez, but they shouldn€™t have the same baggage. They also needed to bring in and out-and-out, pacey winger as an alternative to Nasri and Silva and they€™ve done that with Navas. He will had another dimension to their play. Signing another holding midfielder would have also been a priority to free up Yaya Toure and they€™ve also done that with the signing of Fernandinho. They€™re signings have been perfect but there are still question marks over the players€™ attitude and the arrival of a new manager who has never managed in England before. Key player: Yaya Toure Transfers in so far: Jesus Navas from Sevilla for £14.9 million. Alvaro Negredo from Sevilla for £20 million. Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina for £22 million. Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk for £30 million. Possible team to face Newcastle in their first fixture: GK: Hart RB: Zabaleta CB: Kompany CB: Lescott LB: Clichy DM: Fernandinho CM: Toure RM: Navas LM: Silva ST: Negredo ST: Dzeko
