18. West Ham
Sam Allardyce may spent most of last season alienating many Hammer's fans with his aspersions of West Hams footballing history but he did get them promoted which was what he was hired for. He may also have more than one successful relegation battle on his CV but this season is probably not going to be another. His teams are always strong, organised and well put together, except when playing his good friend Sir Alex then they are easier to play against than a Scottish team in Europe. They may have signed players with a Premier League pedigree in James Collins, Mohamed Diame and Jussi Jaaskelainen. Signing Modibo Maiga, a long time Newcastle target, may turn out to be a good bit of business but they just don't score enough goals. Carlton Cole and Ricardo Vaz Te only scored a combined 25 goals in the Championship last season. A hard season lies ahead. First Three Games: Aston Villa (H), Swansea (A), Fulham (H)
