Premier League 2012/13: Top 10 Transfers Of The Summer (So Far...)

6. Mladen Petric to Fulham - Free Transfer

A player who scored an absolutely spectacular goal against Fulham in the Europa League a few seasons ago, Petric is no stranger to Craven Cottage, or manager Martin Jol, under whom he played for at former club Hamburg. A prolific goal scorer in the Bundesliga, Petric was touted for moves to several top European clubs several seasons ago but no move ever came to fruition however that does not devalue the player's abilities on the field of play. A marksman with a rifle of a left foot, expect goals from Petric this season, I assume many people have already placed him in their fantasy XI's after his brace on the opening day. And with the losses of Bobby Zamora and Andy Johnson and the imminent departure of Clint Dempsey, Fulham need goals from somewhere and Petric is the man to supply them.
